The Writers’ Access Support Staff Training Program is designed to provide writers from underrepresented backgrounds with tools and education to become a writers’ assistant and script coordinator, resulting in meaningful employment opportunities.
Please note that your application is subject to your agreement with the program’s eligibility requirements, terms of use, and the submission website terms and privacy policy.
Eligible applicants must be at least 18 years old, authorized to work in the United States, and interested in pursuing employment in a writers' room support staff role. Individuals who have previously worked as a Writers’ Assistant or Script Coordinator are not eligible to apply.
Applications close on September 13, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
Late submissions will not be accepted or considered. We recommend completing your application at least 48 hours prior to the deadline to avoid any technical difficulties.
All applicants will be notified about their application status via email on or by December 15, 2026.
